Cold Mountain FAQ

Contact events@highlandbrewing.com to add beer to your preexisting order. In the body of your email, please include the name the ticket is under, your session date & time, what kind of case, and how many cases. Please note, we are experiencing a high volume of requests and will do our best to respond within 48 hours.  

You can pick up your pre-ordered beer anytime during your ticketed session in the Highland distribution area (between the Taproom and the Meadow.)  Thank you for traveling responsibly!  

Our brewery, like many others in the WNC region, has been massively affected by the impacts of Hurricane Helene.

We hvae two options if you can no longer attend Cold Mountain.

1. You’d like a refund.  
   Please email events@highlandbrewing.com and a refund will be issued. 
2. You’d like to donate your ticket proceeds.
   Your donation will keep Highland’s efforts to support our staff + WNC community while we’re unable to operate at full capacity. Thank you!  

Well-behaved, leashed pets are permitted to all Cold Mountain sessions: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We except a great turn out for this event with many people and live music, please do what is best for your pets! 

If you have a ticket, you’re welcome (and encouraged!) to play our disc golf course. The course is only open to Cold Mountain ticketholders. After Hurricane Helene, our brewery—like much of our community—has been deeply impacted, please use extreme caution when on the course. We recommend playing holes 1 – 9 as the back nine sustained more damage from the hurricane. 

Absolutely! During the daytime, we plan to have bands play on the Meadow Stage. Meadow music will be moved inside in the event of cold temps or bad weather.  All evening music will be programmed inside. We will also have a Silent Disco!

We are excited to welcome DJ duo Celestial Dreamers back to Highland on Saturday evening. The DJs will be playing electronic dance music which is pumped directly into personal wireless headphones rather than out loud into a standard PA speaker system.

You can pick up your pre-ordered beer anytime during your ticketed session in the Highland Distribution area (between the Taproom and the Meadow.)  There will not be a pre-ordered beer drive through this year. 

If you’d like to pick up your Cold Mountain Friday, November 8th – Sunday, November 10th, you will need a ticket.

If you don’t plan to join us on site for Release Weekend festivities, you may pre-order beer for pick up at the brewery on Monday, November 11th. We will open at 12pm. 

Pre-order packaged beer to guarantee your favorites! Cold Mountain on draft will last through Release Weekend. 

Starting the week of November 11th, Cold Mountain will be available in packages at select retailers. Check our beer finder after November 12th to find Cold Mountain near you in NC, SC, TN, and GA.
