Right in the heart of East Asheville, Highland Brewing is proud to offer an unparalleled experience for volleyball enthusiasts and beer aficionados alike. Five state-of-the-art sand volleyball courts provide the perfect setting for spirited matches and unforgettable moments.  

Highland takes pride in fostering a sense of community through volleyball leagues and tournaments. Seasonal leagues bring together players of similar skill levels, ensuring a competitive yet enjoyable experience for everyone. Whether a casual player or a seasoned pro, there’s a league for everyone to join and make lasting memories with fellow volleyball enthusiasts. 

Looking for a more casual experience? Join us for weekend pick-up play where players can enjoy the game in a less-structured environment. It’s a fantastic way to meet new people, improve skills, and have a great time on the courts without the commitment of a league. League and pick-up play are for 21+ players only.

Pick-up Hours

Players must be 21+. Please check in at the Meadow or taproom bar for your wristband and sign a waiver (required to play). Check the Recreation Calendar for court closures and pick-up updates.

Pick-up Rules: Must pay to play ($5), Must be kind, No Challenge courts, ANYONE, ANYTIME, ANY COURT.

Reservations

Court reservations available during pick-up hours for $40/hr per court. We cannot accommodate reservations Monday – Thursday from 5pm to close, or on Sundays from 9am to 5pm. Please email our resident sports guy, Kyle Fitzpatrick to reserve!  kfitzpatrick@highlandbrewing.com
