Cold Mountain Tickets
Join us for the Cold Mountain Release at Highland Brewing in Asheville, NC. Tickets are required to access Highland’s campus and purchase Cold Mountain Winter Ale Friday, November 13 – Sunday, November 15. Kids 10 and under to not need a ticket to attend. Guests may visit on Monday, November 16 starting at 12pm, free of charge.
Cold Mountain Beer Dinner
Thursday, NOV. 12
5-9pm | $178 per person
Get ready to warm up with Cold Mountain Winter Ale at this year’s Cold Mountain Beer Dinner, featuring a curated menu from Chef Taylor Montgomery, 2026 James Beard Award winner for Best Chef: Southeast. Montgomery leads the kitchen at Montgomery Sky Farm, a 50-acre regenerative farm in Leicester, NC, just west of Asheville, known for hyper-seasonal tasting menus built around Appalachian ingredients grown on-site.
Each course is paired with Cold Mountain Winter Ale and this year’s seasonal spin-off releases like Chocolate Orange Cold Mountain, Coconut Cold Mountain and Pumpkin Spice Latte Cold Mountain. Attendees also get first access to purchase Cold Mountain beer and merch before it’s available to the public.

Weekend pass grants access to the Highland Brewing campus Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. For three days, enjoy live music, a free photo booth (with print-outs!), and exclusive on-site small batch Cold Mountain brews, along with this year’s Cold Mountain merchandise. Sunday adds extra fun with activations from our Thirst for Good Community Partners.
Throughout the weekend, packaged beer will be available to purchase at the event while supplies last, including Cold Mountain Winter Ale, Coconut Cold Mountain, Chocolate Orange Cold Mountain, Pumpkin Spice Latte Cold Mountain and two versions of Barrel-Aged Cold Mountain.
Friday, November 13

Friday’s lineup includes live music from Pleasure Chest, Sky City, Heavenly Vipers, New Dawn Starkestra and DJ Brandon Manitoba. On-site experiences include a free photo booth (with print-outs!), Cold Mountain Heritage Panel, exclusive small batch brews and a Wolf’s Den Cocktail Bar. Shop this year’s Cold Mountain merchandise and new winter gear throughout the event.

Enjoy live music from Tuff Sol, Explorer’s Club, DJ Cole, Pinkish Floyd and an EDM Silent Disco. Additional experiences includes a guided flight tastings, a free photo booth (with print-outs!), exclusive small batch brews and the Wolf’s Den Cocktail Bar. Shop this year’s Cold Mountain merchandise and cozy new winter gear.

Sunday, November 15

Enjoy live music from Chikomo Marimba, Kuff Knotz & Christine Elise, plus a special edition of Matt Smith’s Well-Crafted Music Series. Roam campus for a free commemorative print-out photo booth, a libation at the Wolf’s Den Cocktail Bar and small batch Cold Mountain brews you can’t get anywhere else. Swing by our Thirst for Good Partner tents to see how they’re giving back to the WNC community. Cap it off with a shop through this year’s Cold Mountain merch and cozy new winter gear.
