Genre: slacker rock, psych rock, grunge
Hinton Edgerton (AKA Bill) began cutting his teeth as a gigging musician around 2016, playing mostly violin, mandolin, and bass for other artists. In the following year, big names such as Wilco, Tame Impala, The Byrds, Mac Demarco, Fleet Foxes, and Meat Puppets inspired him to start writing tunes of his own, eventually giving birth to the Bill persona that we know today. The sound seamlessly blends harmony-driven psychedelic folk rock with that signature slimey 90s DIY aesthetic.
Originally a home recording project, Bill’s Garage has steadily grown into a respectable and entertaining live act, packing out small dives and breweries with built-in crowds all across the mid-southeast. Expect a healthy(?) concoction of shimmering guitars, catchy melodies, self-reflective lyrics, lowbrow humor, and gas – lots of gas.
