Alice is a singer-songwriter originally from the Northeast. She first started singing in church as a kid. She picked up a banjo in Tennessee a year after college and fell in love with the way it drew songs out of her. Accompanied by guitar and clawhammer banjo, her original songs weave together storytelling and potent imagery, evoking life’s wild and mysterious twists and turns.
Lyle de Vitry’s thoughtfully crafted melodies and poetry are imaginative, visually arresting and thought provoking as he explores themes of nature, love, memory and the temporal. An Asheville based songwriter, his creative expression and inspiration are derived from a wide range of sonic spaces.
