Live Music with Nick Dittmeier & the Sawdusters

“Nick Dittmeier is a singer-songwriter from Southern Indiana in the United States. With the support of his backing/touring band, The Sawdusters, he has released two full length albums, “Midwest Heart/ Southern Blues” in 2016 and “All Damn Day” in 2018, and an EP called “Companion” in 2019. These albums are gritty collections of songs, full of characters who were developed while staring over the dash of a beat up tour van, cruising through towns all over the South and Midwest.

The upcoming release, “Heavy Denim” (SonaBlast Records), is an expansion of the sound the band has honed. This 10 song collection was bourne out of the isolation of the pandemic. It has pushed the band into darker and more progressive territory, along with the boundaries of Roots Music.

Relentless touring through the United States and Europe have accompanied these releases, and he will be on the road in 2023 and beyond.”
