Wyndham Baird
Wyndham Baird grew up in rural North Carolina and moved to Asheville for college at the same time as the financial crisis, whereupon he opted out of college and into being a travelling musician. His journey took him all over the US, ending up as a key player in the folk scene in Brooklyn, NY, centred around the Brooklyn Folk Festival and the Jalopy Theatre and School of Music.

The Well-crafted Music Series is a weekly curation of talent brought to Asheville by pedal steel guitarist Matt Smith. Unique and genre-less, the series celebrates fresh collaborations from seasoned musicians. The series features artists that Matt Smith has met and worked with during his 20+ year career touring and recording.
Highland Taproom guests have the opportunity to see a range professional artists like they’ve never seen them before. For free, in the Highland Taproom or Meadow, when weather permits.
