Original roots reggae with popular covers thrown in. Band originated by Danny Lyn and includes his son, Joshua Lyn as drummer.
Formed in 1983, Saylyn has captivated audiences all over New England, introducing their unique blend of Reggae and Caribbean rhythms. The influence of their original repertoire comes from brothers Danny and Barry Lyn who are natives of Jamaica. After over thirty years of composing and growing, Danny and his son, Josh, have brought Saylyn music to Asheville, NC to form the current lineup.
