Join Us in Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Our Beloved Founder, Oscar P. Wong
Sunday, June 29 starting at 12pm
The gathering is open to the public, and we warmly invite you to join us to celebrate the Oscar way – with music, good food, and community spirit.
Event Highlights
- 12pm: Quartet from the Asheville Symphony Orchestraperforms in the Meadow
- 1pm: Address from Oscar’s daughter, and Highland President, Leah Wong Ashburn
- 3pm: Live music from the Lillie Syracuse Band
- Food Trucks: Ceci’s Kitchen, Trucking Delicious, Rice Wagon, Bullhded Peanut Co., and 3 Eggs Cakery to feature special dishes for the occasion
- Drinks: Enjoy a lineup of Highland beers, including Oscar’s Oatmeal Porter, with $1 from each pint benefiting the Arc of Buncombe County. Cocktails, wine and n/a beverages also available

Parking and Additional Info
Please carpool if possible, we hope to accommodate as many people as would like to join in the celebration. A shuttle will run to and from the Sun Su lot throughout the event.
Please note that the Disc Golf Course will be closed for the day.
