The Gardening Club Live in The Meadow

The Gardening Club is a Fusion/Blue Note style jazz group based in Greenville South Carolina. First formed in 2019 the Gardening Club has performed at venues all over the Greenville Spartanburg area playing a variety of classic standards and original compositions. Founding member banjoist Carson Moore has played with several iterations of The Gardening Club, first forming the group with 3 fellow students at the Greenville Fine Arts Center. The current line up consists of a core quartet with Moore on banjo, Leah Rutherford on vocals and keys, Patrick Lane on drums, and Most recently Wilson Stokes on bass guitar. The Gardening Club is actively performing all across their local area as well as esteemed festivals and venues across the country such as Floyd Fest and The IBMA world of bluegrass festival bringing an original sound and lineup that perfectly matches the simultaneously progressive and traditional energy of their home town Greenville South Carolina.
