What started as a one-off experimental gig centering alt-rock covers into a modern jazz setting over 7 years ago has now formed into an original musical project marrying soul, dance, electronic, funk, and rock inspirations. Red Echo Lab is an exploratory indie soul-pop band playing fun, upbeat originals and catchy cover experiments coming from the hearts and minds of Asheville-based musicians Brad Curtioff and Kara Irani. Along with a rotating roster of some of the area’s best musicians, Curtioff’s roaring keys and Irani’s powerhouse vocals bring soul-lifting energy to every show they play.
