Highland is proud to have partnered with Honey For Good (formerly the Center for Honeybee Research) once again to host Asheville HoneyFest 2026 this June. For the second year in a row, this vibrant, community-driven event brought together thousands of visitors to celebrate pollinators, local agriculture, and the joy of learning something new.
As one of Western North Carolina’s most beloved family-friendly festivals, Asheville HoneyFest continues to grow, offering an accessible, engaging experience for locals, tourists, vendors, and industry folks alike.
What Is Asheville HoneyFest?
Asheville HoneyFest is a free community festival dedicated to bees, beekeeping, and the critical role pollinators play in our ecosystems. Each year, attendees gather to explore educational exhibits, hands-on demonstrations, honey tastings, and interactive activities for all ages.
