Looking to play volleyball in Asheville? Highland Brewing in East Asheville offers five top‑notch sand volleyball courts for competitive leagues, tournaments, and casual pick-up play.
Our seasonal volleyball leagues match players by skill level, creating a fun and competitive experience for everyone—whether you’re new to the sport or a seasoned player.
Prefer something more relaxed? Join our pick-up volleyball sessions for a low‑pressure way to play, meet new people, and enjoy Asheville’s favorite brewery setting.
Leagues and pick-up play are for ages 21+ only.

- Pick-up is open to players of all levels

Availability:
- Monday – Friday: 9am – 5pm
- Saturday: 11am – 6pm
Pricing:
- $40/ hour base price
- $50/ hour during programmed events
- $60/ hour to staff the bar outside of regular Taproom hours

Summer Youth Volleyball Camps
Asheville Sand Volleyball Club invites young athletes to experience the excitement and energy of beach volleyball in a fun, welcoming summer camp environment led by Coach Marcelo Duarte.
Designed for youth of all skill levels ages 10-17, this camp offers a “taste of the beach” in Asheville—hosted on some of the area’s best sand courts. Whether your child is new to volleyball or looking to sharpen their competitive edge, they’ll build confidence while having an unforgettable summer experience.
What Campers Will Learn
- Participants will develop and refine essential volleyball skills, including:
- Passing, setting, hitting and serving
- Defensive positioning and offensive strategies
- Campers will also learn how to play beach doubles, fours and six on six formats based on their skill level.

- June 22 – 26 | 9am – 12pm
- July 6 – 10 | 9am – 12pm
- July 27 – 31 | 9am-12pm
- August 3 – 7 | 9am – 12pm
