Hollar Choir

Bio

Led by multi-instrumentalists and award winning songwriters Clint Roberts and Jackson Grimm, Asheville’s Holler Choir blends a distinctly Appalachian indie-pop sound with haunting harmonies, stirring string arrangements, and heart-wrenching ballads—yet rarely conforms to a single genre. Rooted in Old-time, Americana, and Bluegrass traditions, Holler Choir’s sound is ultimately singular by design. Alongside Roberts and Grimm, a rotating cast of gifted Appalachian musicians contributes to the group’s recordings and electrifying live performances.
