FAQ
TAPROOM AND BREWERY VISITS
Can we bring a group to Highland?
Our Taproom and Meadow are public spaces designed for the enjoyment of all of our visitors. Reserving one of our Meadow Silo Cabanas is the only way to guarantee space for your group gathering in Highland’s public areas. Email silos@highlandbrewing.com to reserve.
If your gathering includes announcements, presentations, tickets, music, and/or catering, a Highland private event venue must be rented. Please contact events@highlandbrewing.com to book the Barrel Room, Rooftop, or Event Center.
If visiting our Meadow or Taproom, please do not occupy more tables than needed. The Taproom and Meadow tables are first come, first serve and CANNOT be reserved. Banners, yard signs, balloons and hanging posters are not allowed in the Taproom or Meadow.
Can my business "table" at Highland?
With the exception of planned/approved blood drives and craft market vendors, Highland does NOT allow businesses to table or solicit at the brewery at any time. If a business sets up a table or solicitation station, a Highland Brewing team member will ask for it to be broken down / removed immediately. Failure to comply will result in removal from the property.
If you are an artisan maker and would like to vend at our craft markets, please email markets@highlandbrewing.com.
What are the Silo Cabanas and how can I reserve one?
The Silo Cabanas once functioned as grain storage for Highland until normal wear and tear necessitated its replacement in 2023. In a creative effort to minimize waste, the silo was halved with it’s top and bottom anchored into the ground with retired beer kegs and concrete. By adding decks and patio furniture, the Silo Cabanas provide a unique new guest experience in the Meadow. Design and construction were spearheaded by Highland’s own facilities team.
Reserving a Silo Cabana is the only way to guarantee space for your group gathering in Highland’s public areas. Special event pricing applies to some dates. If you would like to reserve a Silo Cabana or if you have any questions, please reach out to silos@highlandbrewing.com.
What types of beverages are available at Highland Brewing?
You will find Highland Brewing’s flagship beers available in the Taproom, Meadow and event spaces. Small batch brews, produced in our pilot brewery, are available year-round and rotate often! In addition to Highland beer, you will find cider, wine and non-alcoholic beverages. We also now serve liquor cocktails!
Are you allowed to bring outside beverages to Highland Brewing?
While you are allowed and encouraged to bring your personal water bottle to stay hydrated, we do NOT allow other outside beverages at Highland Brewing. Coolers and outside beverages including alcohol are strictly prohibited. It is illegal for guests to consume outside alcohol on our premises. All alcoholic beverages must be opened and served by a Highland Brewing Ambassador.
Can you bring food to Highland Brewing?
At the brewery, we encourage guests to support our amazing, local food trucks. Please do not bring outside food, platters, or catering. Coolers are not allowed. If you would like to bring outside snacks for the kiddos, please dispose of it respectfully in our provided waste receptacles.
Are children allowed at Highland Brewing?
While Highland Brewing is family-friendly and we love your kiddos, please keep them close at all times. We ask that parents ensure their children show respect for our property, amenities, and the ability for all guests to enjoy their stay.
Can I have my child's birthday party at Highland?
While we love having you and your families here, Highland is not a public park. We kindly ask guests not to host children’s parties at our brewery. If you would like to hold a gathering of any kind in the Meadow, please contact silos@highlandbrewing.com.
Please do not occupy more tables than needed or leave personal items on vacant tables while kids are playing in the play area. If this is observed by the Highland team, you will be asked to condense your belongings to occupied tables.
We want to make sure that our visiting, beer-loving guests have a place to sit. Thank you!

Currently, well-behaved dogs are allowed in the Taproom and Meadow as long as they are on leash and close to owners at all times.
Please note, once our pizza kitchen opens, pets will only be allowed in our outdoor spaces.
