August 21st is the first date in almost 40 years that a total solar eclipse will be visible - and that is super cool. Even cooler? Asheville is one of the few areas in the United States that will have a 99% eclipse, visible at roughly 2:37 pm. The coolest part? You can watch it from our rooftop deck or our grassy meadow with a pint in your hand.

The before and after will be neat to watch as well, so come early, and stay as long as you'd like.

*

We will have two shuttles running from the parking lot at River Ridge shopping center starting at noon.

Please try to obtain your own protective eyewear - it is NOT safe to look at the partially eclipsed sun. We have 1,000 on hand in case you forget, you can buy them while they last for $1.

*

We will have two special small batch beers releasing for this once in a lifetime event!

Saison d’Éclipses: This black saison, like the eclipse itself, is slow in revealing its full beauty. It brings together the classic flavors of a saison along with a dark, roasty character. Reminiscent of fragrant spice bread, this is a beer to comfort you as the moon eclipses the sun and shutters day into night.

Solar Eclipse Black IPA: Jump started by bold citrus hops, rich dark malts lead the way to a roasty smooth finish.

Benjamin Pearce Bjorlie will be on site from 1:30-3:45 playing instrumental funk and jazz.

The Highland Pop-Up Kitchen will be in full swing, along with El Querubin, and Sackett Street BBQ

The rooftop bar is 21+, the Meadow is family friendly.
