Ashely Heath & Her Heathens

Ashley Heath & Her Heathens play a free show in the tasting room at Highland Brewing Company located in Asheville, NC.With a blend of original soul Americana music, Ashley Heath has been arising as one of Asheville's finest and uniquely gifted musicians with "velvety" vocals and a bluesy guitar style. Raised in the foothills of Appalachia, Heath has developed a strong passion for country, blues, and folk music and in March of 2015, Heath decided to go full time into singing and playing music, quit her part time job as a barista in downtown Asheville, and recorded her first album “A Different Stream”. The album was recorded at the amazing Echo Mountain Recording Studios in Asheville, NC with producer Ryan Burns and engineer Clay Miller. “A Different Stream” is a collection of Heath’s first attempt at songwriting and is a seven song album with six original songs and one cover titled “Ready for The Times to Get Better”. Her debut album “A Different Stream” was released on Friday May 27th, 2016 at The Asheville Music Hall with newly formed band “Ashley Heath and Her Heathens”. The band consists of members Ashley Heath on vocals and rhythm guitar, Casey Cramer on lead guitar, Elijah Cramer on bass, and Patrick Thomas on drums. Together the band has toured regionally and are making a lasting impression in their hometown Asheville, NC. The band also has plans to record an album in the spring.

Since releasing "A Different Stream" the album has been voted in as #48 on WNCW's Top 100 Releases of 2016, Heath was named "Artist Of The Year - 2016 - Regional" by The Greenville Journal, and she wrapped up her first Kickstarter Campaign in which $11,866 was raised to help fund advertising, promoting, tour support, and vinyl records for new album "A Different Stream". 2016 was a promising year and Ashley Heath and Her Heathens are looking forward to things yet to come in 2017! visit website
