105.9 the Mountain turns 10 and we are going whole hog at the 5th annual BaconFest Asheville, presented by Ingles. We will be cooking over 110 pounds of Laura Lynn bacon for the party PLUS you'll enjoy incredible sweet and savory dishes from some of the area's best restaurants.

This year's festival features headliner and American Idol, Caleb Johnson

A VIP package is available for only $50 and includes early access to the festival (entry at 12pm), parking on site at Highland Brewing Company (guaranteed only if arriving before 1pm), goodie bag from Ingles, access to the Highland Event Center Mezzanine and Rooftop Bar (21 and older only) with exclusive bacon goodness for VIPs ONLY from Mountain Madre, Ingles, Surf 'N Brew, Cakes By Jane and more.

General Admission Tickets are $20 for adults, and children 9 and under are FREE (but still need to reserve tickets). The "meat" of the event takes place in the Outdoor Meadow at Highland Brewing with sampling of the savory bacon inspired cuisine, vendors selling take away products, music from Caleb Johnson and 105.9 the Mountain, inflatable bounce houses, face painting, and balloon twisters. The Tasting Room will be open to all BaconFest ticket holders to escape the heat, enjoy some sweet bacon goodies, and a cold Highland brew.

BaconFest Asheville is an outdoor event and will be RAIN or SHINE. All ticket holders will have access to some indoor spaces, but it is limited based on ticket type. Plan accordingly for the outdoor event and weather.Upon arrival, guests 18 and older will receive a "bacon ballot" to vote for the restaurant they think deserves the coveted People's Choice trophy.
