DESCRIPTION:Bio:\nElizabeth McCorvey is a part-time psychotherapist\, part-time musician and full-time delight. She writes original music plays with her own band and with a variety of other bands across Western North Carolina. As a roots/americana solo artist\, her original music is typically equal parts incisive social/political analysis and petty commentary about her haters. Her solo album\, “Songs I Sent You” will be coming out on August 3rd. Elizabeth plays the banjo\, cello\, fiddle and can burn the barn down with her voice (but she won’t). \n“Elizabeth and the Workin’ Men is a danceable goldmine of a country/blues band\, with a collection of originals and twists on familiar covers.”
