Laura Blackley and the Wildflowers are an Asheville, NC-based band who have drawn comparisons to the likes of the Allman Brothers Band, Patsy Cline, and old school blues. The music is kinetic and borrows heavily from American roots styles to create a sound that is distinctly southern yet worldly, modern yet timeless. We call it folk tunes with a rock and roll soundtrack.
Laura Blackley and Ian Harrod sing together and write songs. Blackley plays acoustic and electric guitars, Harrod plays bass. Dorsey Parker plays lead guitar and Richard Foulk plays drums.
