Buffalo Kings Live in The Meadow

A Blue Country, Soul, and Rock n’ Roll rock band that came together on the streets of Asheville, NC. The band was organically formed when singer/songwriter Trevor Darden met hand drummer Will Carr(congas, djembe) while Trevor was busking downtown. The two sparked an instant friendship, and started playing music together on a daily basis. A few months later Trevor and Will began playing regular shows in and around Asheville.

About 6 months later, multi-talented jazz and funk based player Andre Lyle joined the crew on bass after hearing Trevor busking one afternoon downtown.

William McMahon, the bands lead guitar player, is a recent addition to the lineup. His dynamic high energy playing style adds another dimension to the bands music that is show stopping and undeniable.

Upon Will Carr’s brief hiatus of the band due to the upcoming birth of his son, Darvin Jones and his mastery of the full drum kit was recruited to the lineup to round off the 4 piece.

Together as Buffalo Kings, they form a unit of musicians who feed off each other’s energy, and possess effortlessly chemistry.
