When do tickets go on sale for Cold Mountain Release Weekend?

What if I need to switch my ticket to a different day?
Contact eperry@highlandbrewing.com to switch your Access Pass. Please note, we are experiencing a high volume of requests and will do our best to respond within 48 hours.
Can I still add packaged beer if I already bought a ticket?
Contact eperry@highlandbrewing.com to add them to your preexisting order. In the body of your email, please include the name the ticket is under, your session date & time, what kind of case, and how many cases. Please note, we are experiencing a high volume of requests and will do our best to respond within 48 hours.
I purchased a ticket and pre-ordered beer, but will be taking an Uber/Lyft to the brewery. How can I get my pre-ordered beer?
You can pick up your pre-ordered beer anytime during your ticketed Session in the Highland Distribution area which is between the Taproom and the Meadow. Thank you for traveling responsibly!
Are tickets refundable?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds on Access Passes. The event is rain or shine! If you cannot attend, feel free to email your ticket to a friend or contact eperry@highlandbrewing.com to release your Access Pass. We are experiencing a high volume of requests and will do our best to respond within 48 hours.
Event Questions
Do I need a pass to get into the brewery for Cold Mountain release weekend?
YES! You will not be able to visit Highland Brewing without an access pass November 10th-12th. You need an access pass in order to purchase packaged beer during this time. Sorry, no exceptions!
On Monday, November 13th we will sell the remaining Cold Mountain packaged beer and have remaining varieties on draft. Access passes are NOT required to visit the brewery on Monday, but you can pre-order Cold Mountain packaged beer!
Can I bring my pet to Cold Mountain?
Well-behaved, leashed pets are permitted during the Day Sessions (12-4pm) on Friday and Saturday as well as at Sunday Family Day (12-6pm). Pets are not permitted during the Friday and Saturday (6-11pm) Night Sessions.
Are kids allowed at Cold Mountain?
Children are welcome to attend the Day Sessions (12-4pm) on Friday and Saturday as well as at Sunday Family Day (12-6pm). Sunday’s 12-6pm session will have activities for kids like face painting, coloring, and a caricaturist! Children in attendance are required to stay with their parents at all times. Children under 5 years of age do not need an access pass.
The Friday and Saturday (6-11pm) Night Sessions are 21+. Sorry, no exceptions!
Can I play volleyball during Cold Mountain Release Weekend?
Highland’s 2nd Annual Cold Mountain Classic will be held Saturday, November 11th and Sunday November 12th. Tournament registration opens September 26th at 8am. Register here. The courts will NOT be open for pick-up play on Friday-Sunday.

Is the disc golf course open during Cold Mountain Release Weekend?
If you have an Access Pass, you’re welcome (and encouraged!) to play our 18-hole disc golf course, during your ticketed session. THE COURSE WILL ONLY BE OPEN TO ACCESS PASS HOLDERS. Check our merch store for this year’s Cold Mountain disc!
Additionally, on Friday we will hold an “Ace Run.” No need to register in advance! Winner will receive a Cold Mountain merch bundle!
What is the Cold Mountain Beer Dinner?
A seated, coursed dinner featuring Cold Mountain beer pairings with food from the chefs at Bun Intended. It’s the first chance to purchase Cold Mountain beer and merchandise this season. The dinner is Thursday, November 9th in the Event Center and will SELL OUT FAST. The $120 per person ticket includes food and beer and must be purchased in advance. Tables are sold in groups of 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10. Tickets on sale September 26th at 10am.
If it’s raining, snowing, or freezing, will there still be music?
Absolutely! During Day and Sunday Sessions, bands will play in the Event Center and on the Meadow Stage. Meadow music will be moved inside in the event of cold temps or bad weather. All evening music will be programmed in the Event Center and Taproom. We will also have a Silent Disco!
Wait, what is a silent disco?
We are excited to welcome DJ duo Celestial Dreamers back to Highland for the Friday and Saturday evening sessions of Cold Mountain. The DJs will be playing electronic dance music which is pumped directly into personal wireless headphones rather than out loud into a standard PA speaker system.

Beer Questions
Can I pre-order Cold Mountain?
YES! We have TWO packages you can pre-order this year to pick up DURING YOUR TICKETED SESSION. Please note, this year’s offerings are different than previous year’s!
- COLD MOUNTAIN VARIETY PACK: $44 + processing: (8) 16oz cans: (4) Coconut Cold Mountain; (2) Imperial Cold Mountain; (2) Chocolate Hazelnut Cold Mountain
- COLD MOUNTAIN CASE: $56 + processing: (24) 12oz bottles Cold Mountain
On Monday, 10/13 we will sell the remaining Cold Mountain packaged beer and have remaining varieties on draft. Access passes are NOT required to visit the brewery on Monday, but you can pre-order Cold Mountain packaged beer from the TICKETS page.
A la carte packages, including 4-packs of Coconut, Imperial and Chocolate Hazelnut Cold Mountain plus a special edition bottle of Barrel Aged Cold Mountain will also be available onsite. A la carte beer is first come, first serve.
Where can I pick up my pre-ordered beer?

Can I pre-order beer without an Access Pass?
If you’d like to pick up your Cold Mountain Friday, November 10th – Sunday, November 12th, you will need an access pass.
If you don’t plan to join us on site for Release Weekend festivities, you may pre-order beer for pick up at the brewery on Monday, November 13th. We will open at 12pm. Cold Mountain will hit stores Monday, November 13th.
Will you run out of Cold Mountain?
Pre-order packaged beer to guarantee your favorites! A la carte packaged beer will run out in most celebration sessions. Cold Mountain on draft will last through Release Weekend.
WHEN can I buy Cold Mountain in a store?
Starting Monday, November 13th, Cold Mountain will be available in packages at select retailers. Check our beer finder after November 13th to find Cold Mountain near you in NC, SC, TN, and GA.
