Tina and Her Pony

June 20 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

About

“Asheville queer folk institution Tina & Her Pony is back in the saddle with the release of Marigolds.” -Rachel Cholst, The Boot.com

“Beautiful! Dreamy folk pop.” -Amanda Anne Platt, songwriter

Indie Appalachian Folk Band Tina and Her Pony began in Asheville, North Carolina, USA in 2010.  Shortly thereafter, they spent two years holed up in the high desert mountain town of Taos, New Mexico becoming one of the iconic artist colony’s most beloved performing acts.  Tina’s latest full length release Marigolds (2023), is an album about the cyclical nature of change, and of death and rebirth as initiation.  It builds on a sturdy foundation, honed on her previous releases Champion (Echo Mountain Recording Studio 2017) and an eponymous debut (2012).

Weekend Live Music

Highland Brewing’s weekend live music series showcases incredible local talent, regional acts and national touring bands from across the East Coast and beyond. Free and open to all ages (unless noted otherwise), it’s the perfect excuse to gather your crew, listen and vibe to a wide range of genres including soul, bluegrass, acoustic, country, folk and more.
Live music typically takes place on our scenic Meadow stage. Shows are rain or shine, if the weather doesn’t cooperate and we have time to move inside, the band will play in the Taproom where there’s still plenty of room to boogie.
Chairs, blankets and well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome in the Meadow. Please note that coolers and outside alcohol are not permitted on the premises.
